After creating world-wide buzz at the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) debut in 2013, RH and LACMA‘s enchanting Rain Room installation finally dropped on the West Coast with an exclusive VIP opening on Wednesday, October 28.  The brainchild of artist collective Random International, the exhibition space allured stars and tastemakers like Ashley Benson, Dylan Penn, Caroline Vreeland and Erica Pelosini to take the first-steps through a room of continual rainfall; an interactive experience that allows visitors to walk through a simulated rainstorm without getting wet. RH Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman and CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director of LACMA Michael Govan co-hosted the private reception, which featured flowing Cipriani bellinis, Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley wines, beats from DJ Light Year and an unforgettable (and highly instagrammable) Rain Room preview. The L.A. debut marks the launch of a five-month exhibition, packing up the storm on March 6, 2016.
