Kelly Slater and John Moore celebrated their newly launched sustainable menswear label, Outerknown, with a beachside bash held at the wood-planked Sand Castle house of renowned architect Harry Gesner on Saturday August 29th in Malibu. Outfitted in his eco-conscious brand, the 11-time world champion surfer mingled with a crowd that included Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky, Julia Roberts, Jason Statham and rocker Kim Gordon. Supermodel and longtime Malibu resident Cindy Crawford was also in attendance along with her children and husband Rande Gerber, who supplied the night’s beverage of choice: Casamigos Tequila, the brand he started with George Clooney. The family-friendly event was replete with a bonfire, smores and fresh wood-fired pizzas and green juices by Venice’s Gjelina and Moon Juice.
