Marc Selwyn Fine Art Opening in Beverly Hills
Artists and collectors gathered to celebrate the opening of Marc Selwyn Fine Art in Beverly Hills on Sunday, February 16. The new space is Selwyn’s second location and his original gallery remains on Wilshire’s museum row. The new outpost, a ’40s building formerly home to Al Grimmett & Sons Garage, has been transformed into a modern 3,000-square-foot salon designed by Frederick Fisher and Partners. The launch exhibition included works by Richard Misrach, who was in attendance, as well as art by Mel Bochner, Robert Heinecken, and William Wegman among others. The new gallery’s program will remain consistent with the Wilshire location, with a selection of established and mid-career painters, photographers, and conceptual artists.
