Nicolas Ghesquière escorted Charlotte Gainsbourg and Catherine Deneuve to the Los Angeles opening of the multimedia and multisensory Louis Vuitton Series 2 exhibition on Thursday, February 6. The celebration marked the reopening of the French leather goods house’s expansive Rodeo Drive boutique (masterminded by architect Peter Marino) and served as the kickoff for the show highlighting Ghesquière’s spring 2015 women’s collection in a pop-up space on Highland Avenue. A host of Vuitton-clad women including Jennifer Connelly, Rosamund Pike, Michelle Williams, Haley Bennett, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Karen Gillan, Grimes, Emilia Clarke, and Alexa Chung were all on hand for the chic cocktail party held days before the Grammy Awards.
