Longines Masters kicked off the first stop of its three-city trilogy on Thursday, October 1 with an opening gala held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Over 850 guests gathered in celebration of one of the most prestigious equestrian competitions worldwide, which will continue its show-jumping competitions over the next three days. The gala’s guest list included famous names like Kaley Cuoco, Georgina Bloomberg and Eve Jobs, with the latter taking home a trophy from the day’s earlier riding competition. Destry Spielberg also competed, while her parents Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw watched on. The night included a dressage demonstration by 2015 Pan American Games Gold Medalist Steffen Peters and music by Powdercoat. The excitement will culminate during Sunday afternoon’s Longines Grand Prix.
