Guests gathered at Soho House in West Hollywood for a pre-party in anticipation of LAXART‘s summer Garden Party benefiting the art non-profit. This year, the organization is teaming up with The RealReal, an online luxury resale site founded in San Francisco, and its L.A. fashion hunter, Clea Shearer, explained how each guest will be able to make donations of clothing and accessories at the main event in July. Fashion fans will bring Alexis Bittar earrings, Chanel cuffs, or Isabel Marant summer dresses to the check-in table. “We’ll sell them on the site and proceeds will go to LAXART,” said Shearer. She noted that she’s particularly looking forward to sorting through great accessories for the sale, and adds, “I’d be happy to come to guests’ houses and help uncover great Louis Vuitton key pouches, designs by The Row or Tom Ford and Goyard bags.”
