Costa Mesa was awash in the loopy cursive script found on necklaces and rings in Alber Elbaz’s fall 2013 collection for Lanvin during the fashion show and luncheon celebrating the opening of the Parisian fashion house’s new boutique at the South Coast Plaza on Thursday, September 12. The words love, happy, and cool—writ large—adorned Marche Moderne where the lunch and first look at the pre-spring 2014 collection took place. The Harvesters, including Cindy McMackin, Julia Post, and Lori Anderson, co-hosted the event, and a portion of proceeds went to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
