The charming new oceanfront shops at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach have two stylish new tenants: Jenni Kayne and Clare V. The ladies behind the two eponymous SoCal-based labels lured their L.A. fans and friends down the coast to celebrate the dual openings on Saturday, September 24, with an intimate waterside dinner. Attendees like stylist Jessica de Ruiter, designer Lynn Pyle and blogger Nina Hayes floated between the two shops, enjoying bites by Cafe Gratitude while perusing the latest fall offerings from the cult favorite brands. In traditional Newport flair, the evening concluded with scoops of ice cream by the harbor on the balmy fall evening. With the addition of these stores, along with outposts like Elyse Walker and Alchemy Works: Harbor House, it’s safe to say Newport Beach has put itself on the map as a premier California retail destination.
