Global Green USA celebrated its 20th anniversary while hosting its 11th annual Pre-Oscar Party at the Avalon in Hollywood on Wednesday, February 26. Longtime supporters including Zem Joaquin and Nadine Weil, as well as Ed Begley Jr., Billy Zane, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Vanessa Marano, and Malin Akerman dined on a plant-based dinner by Akasha Restaurant, which included black rice pilaf, spring peas, and roasted king oyster mushrooms, followed by a chocolate-walnut-cashew cake sundae. Moby headlined, performing a wide range of hits and the L.A.-based duo The Crystal Method manned the turntables  during an auction led by collector Mariana Joseph which included a J. Lohr Paso Robles getaway and a trip to Turtle Island Resort in Fiji. The zero-waste event brought together activists like Michelle Branch, who encouraged guests to raise funds and awareness for Global Green USA’s eco-conscious initiatives towards a sustainable future.
