On the eve of the 88th annual Academy Awards, Giorgio Armani kicked off the celebrations with a private cocktail party at its Beverly Hills boutique, honoring this year’s most nominated film, The Revenant. Filmmakers, big screen stars, fashion elite and more gathered at the Rodeo Drive outpost to join host Roberta Armani and the film’s cast, including six-time Oscar nominee and now-winner for Actor in a Leading Role, Leonardo DiCaprio. Fellow Oscar nominee Cate Blanchett of Carol and countless other stars, including Naomi Campbell, Rebecca Dayan and Chadwick Boseman, adorned luxurious Armani ensembles, while raising a glass to the film’s esteemed cast and prestigious recognition. The intimate soiree would only mark the beginning of celebrations as The Revenant took home three Oscar statues out of the twelve nominated categories for Actor in a Leading Role, Cinematography, and Directing.
