Friendly House Luncheon
On Saturday, October 24, the Beverly Hilton hotel hosted the 26th annual Friendly House luncheon, benefitting the nation’s first-ever women’s recovery home in Hollywood. For over six decades, the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House has empowered those suffering from substance abuse and mental illness, guiding them towards a healthy recovery. Guests joined Co-chairs Julie Jaffe and Sydney Holland, master of ceremonies Brad Goreski and Executive Director Peggy Albrecht in honoring Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson, T.V. personality and designer Kelly Osbourne and singer-songwriter Moby for their inspirational efforts towards a powerful cause. Leading up to the award ceremony and afternoon luncheon, attendees made their bids in a curated silent auction with all proceeds headed to the organization’s treatment programs.
