On Thursday, May 26, Santa Barbara Magazine partnered with C Magazine to fete the launch of Forevermark and Montecito-based jeweler Daniel Gibbings‘ new collaboration, Exception Diamond Collection, at a palatial Montecito estate. Hosted by Jennifer Hale, founder and editorial director of C Magazine (as well as publisher and editorial director of Santa Barbara Magazine), the warm-weathered evening saw guests like author Hollye Jacobs, accessory designer Kendall Conrad, and the namesake of the Daniel Gibbings line. Spanish guitarist Chris Fossek provided the tunes while well-heeled attendees took in the sprawling grounds and oceanic views, sipping on Blackbird Vineyards wines and enjoying hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Cory Martin Catering. The collection’s glimmering baubles proved to be as breathtaking as the surrounds, with diamond pieces on display amid the event’s blushing floral arrangements, for devotees to try on throughout the affair.
