Fendi Mania Drops in Beverly Hills
Fendi was the label on everyone’s lips on Tuesday, October 16, as the Italian fashion house set off its Fendi Mania capsule collection with simultaneous parties across the globe for the buy-now assortment, including a logo-clad affair at the brand’s pop-up on Rodeo Drive. Inspired by the re-appropriation of the Fendi/Fila logo at the label’s Fall/Winter 2018 show, the retro-inspired sportswear collection weaves amped-up motifs, all-over patterns and bold color combinations throughout.
The fete drew guests including singer Joe Jonas, rapper and Crazy Rich Asians’ Awkwafina who wore a white logo-centric midi dress from the brand and matching bag, as well as Este and Alana Haim, who pulled off the brand’s logo-infused western style boots. Those who turned out in Beverly Hills sipped on Champagne, white wine and a specialty cocktail featuring green tea-infused vodka, and nibbled on everything from tuna tartare and mini lobster rolls to spiced chicken and sweet potato waffles, all while enjoying a Fendi-inspired photo booth and music from DJ Zuri Marley.
Meanwhile, similar celebrations took place both across the coast in New York, and around the globe in Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Paris, London and Moscow.
The Fendi Mania collection is available at Fendi boutiques until the end of the year, and on fendi.com.
