On August 3, Newport Beach notables stepped out to celebrate Fashion Island’s 50th anniversary with an evening of food, wine and fashion. Among the guests that flocked to Fig & Olive for the fete were Corona Del Mar native Leslie Mann, Mayor Kevin Muldoon, Dave Moore, Jon T. Lewis, Nina Robinson, Alberto “Al” Treviño and William “Bill” R. Watt. After enjoying  Mediterranean fare, the crowd was treated to a slew of models who took the floor to showcase the latest men’s and women’s fashion trends—including bordeaux hues, metallic, and smartly mixed prints—from brands found at the shopping center. Fashion Island’s diverse assortment of boutiques and restaurants includes more than 160 of Southern California’s most recognizable brands, including many exclusive to Orange County and the West Coast.
