Leading men, including Jeremy Renner, Gerard Butler, Edward Norton, and Gavin Rossdale, all dressed the part at the opening celebration for the new Ermenegildo Zegna boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Thursday, November 7. A revamped concept space in a new location, the Peter Marino-designed boutique created with Californians in mind—surf boards by Peter Dayton lined the shop and Creative Director Stefano Pilati made a 10-piece capsule collection for the Beverly Hills location. “That’s a fun part of working with a master like Peter or Stefano,” said CEO Gildo Zegna. “If you stipulate to do something different, they do it.” After guests took a look at the new shop and the spring ’14 couture collection that also had its debut during the party, guests proceeded to the JF Chen gallery where a multimedia exhibition of Pilati’s concept for the spring campaign, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, was unveiled. But, with all the dapper men around, it was hard to focus on anything else.
