On Wednesday, October 21, co-hosts Barneys New York and The CFDA honored jewelry designer Sara Beltrán of Dezso for her inauguration into the prestigious Fashion Incubator program—an institution crafted to promote next generation New York designers. Fashion industry bloggers, stylists and more filled the W Hollywood hotel for a celebratory rooftop brunch, including co-host Taylor Tomasi Hill, Rachel Nguyen, Luisa Fernanda Espinosa, Marta Pozzan, Joseph Cassell and Ezra Woods. Members of The CFDA commemorated Beltrán for her Indian- and Mexican-inspired luxe jewelry line, available in Barneys New York flagships and online. With a council of fashion designers now behind Beltrán’s efforts, the industry can expect more big things from her coastal-influenced creations.
