For friends of Levi’s including Solange Knowles, Moses Sumney, Emily Ratajkowski, Poppy Delevingne and Caroline Vreeland, forgetting to pack their favorite jeans for Coachella wasn’t an issue. During the kickoff weekend of the iconic desert festival, the American closet staple had music lovers covered, starting with a brunch at the Sparrows Lodge in Palm Springs to celebrate Icons and 501s. With private fittings and a Levi’s Tailor Shop offering pins, patches, chain-stitch embroidering, airbrushing and more, partygoers customized their own festival-worthy pieces. Virgil Abloh of Milan-based label Off-White provided the soundtrack for the poolside fete before guests were whisked off via shuttles to the festival grounds, followed by the Levi’s-sponsored Neon Carnival on Saturday night.
