At the historic Musso & Frank Grill in Hollywood, figures from the fashion, film and art industries gathered last night to mark a significant new collaboration: Coach x Rodarte. Launching this season, the debut collection merges the West Coast-meets-ethereal designs of Rodarte with the classic aesthetic of the celebrated New York heritage brand Coach in a refreshing series of leather floral-embellished accessories—a nod to Coach’s leather-working roots—and women’s ready-to-wear garments, from cheeky tees to motorcycle jackets. Guests of the private dinner, including Selma Blair (the new face of Coach), Chloë Grace Moretz, Rashida Jones, Langley Fox and Gia Coppola, were welcomed by the L.A.-based sisters of Rodarte, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and Coach’s creative director, Stuart Vevers. The line will be launching online and at Coach boutiques worldwide in April.
