In celebration of the fantastical Ganna Walska Lotusland and the estate’s upcoming annual Avant Garden summer gala, C’s Jennifer Hale teamed up with Valentino to host an intimate affair in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 13. The afternoon kicked off with desserts and Champagne at the Beverly Hills Ladurée boutique, which opened its doors earlier this year. After indulging in sweets and bubbly, guests including Elaine Irwin, Rebeca de Ravenel, Bui Simon and Elizabeth Chambers headed to Valentino’s nearby Rodeo Drive boutique for an exclusive shopping experience. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit Lotusland, the awe-inspiring gardens that served as the setting for C’s Summer issue cover shoot with Zoe Saldana, and where Valentino will debut a special exhibition in the coming months.
