C Magazine and South Coast Plaza conjured up a chic disco inferno, complete with multiple mirror balls, muddled raspberry cocktails, and copious amounts of sparkling sequins, at The Standard, Hollywood, on Thursday, December 19. Rosetta and Balthazar Getty got cozy on low-slung black banquettes as DJ Adam XII spun tunes that had Colleen Bell and her daughter Caroline grooving to rousing four-on-the-floor beats. C’s Jennifer Hale and South Coast Plaza’s Debra Gunn Downing gathered guests including Susan Casden, Gelila Assefa Puck, Liane Weintraub, Brigette Romanek, Carlos Mota, Jeff Snyder, Cameron Silver, Brooke Davenport, Kendall Conrad, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Mary Alice Haney, and Shiva Rose in the low-lit lounge.

Revelers made their way through The Standard’s kitchen to reach the black leather-clad space and celebrate the holidays with a late-night dance party from the team behind Giorgio’s, Bryan Rabin’s weekly bash held on Saturday nights. Insistent syncopated beats from The Jacksons, Earth Wind & Fire, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Donna Summer plus a grand piano topped with cookies, cupcakes, and towering layer cakes from Sweet & Saucy Shop fueled dancers who tore up the dance floor.
