On Thursday, December 21, C’s founder, CEO and editorial director Jennifer Smith Hale and assemblage artist Valerie Sobel hosted an intimate night of shopping at the Westfield Century City pop-up State of Mind: Curated by C Magazine. Guests Juan F. Bastos, Gabriela Oltean, Yasmin Julie Bergmann,  Sebastian Hull, Aliona Kononova, and Plasticgod amongst others shopped from a selection of the store’s offering of 150 Californian designers and artists. A portion of proceeds from the event went to the Andre Sobel River of Life Foundation whose mission is to help single parent’s cope with a child’s sudden onset of a critical illness.
