It was an afternoon of high tea and shoes, all for a good cause, at an exclusive Jimmy Choo Cruise 2018 preview event at The Peninsula Beverly Hills on November 7, hosted by the luxury shoemaker and C, alongside Jessica de Rothschild and C Fashion Director Alison Edmond. Just in time for holiday shopping, guests including Petra Berg, Lucy Penter, Amanda Brown, Sara Riff, Eve Gerber, and C Editor + President Jenny Murray, were treated to high tea and Champagne before perusing the British label’s latest collection of covetable and celebration-inspired party shoes, bags and boots. The assortment, including the new Brandon sock boot, Lancer pump and glittering, jewel-encrusted Hanover bootie inspired more than a few devotees, with proceeds benefiting the United Nations Refugee Agency. Meanwhile, the gold compact “I Want Choo” clutch inspired more than a few cocktail-ready holiday looks.
