Asprey and C Magazine welcomed guests to the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday, April 8, where C‘s Founder Jennifer Hale introduced Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia to guests gathered in a private room at the hotel’s Polo Lounge for the launch of his Savoy Knot jewelry collection that is currently carried at Asprey’s Beverly Hills boutique. Susan Casden, Liane Weintraub, Shiva Rose, Julia Sorkin, and Jane Ross got a first look at the bridal-inspired collection of diamond-encrusted earrings, pendant necklaces, and bracelets, many inlaid with mother-of-pearl pieces. As Prince Dimitri spoke of his inspiration for the designs, guests dined on thyme-scented chicken, pan-seared brazino, and roasted provençal vegetables inside a puff pastry. Those with a sweet tooth indulged in Meyer lemon meringue tarts with candied lemon peels and rosemary almond tuile for dessert.
