The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles hosted its annual Awards Season Tea Party on Saturday, January 11, at the Four Seasons Los Angeles, Beverly Hills. The afternoon gathering brought together an international coterie of nominees for Golden Globes including actors Cate Blanchett and Sally Hawkins of Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, as well as director Steve McQueen and actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Fassbender of 12 Years a Slave. Also on hand for tea, an assortment of small finger sandwiches, cookies, and scones were Downton Abbey creator and writer Julian Fellowes, and Alice Eve, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jacqueline Bisset, and Steve Coogan were also in attendance at the celebration benefiting BAFTA’s numerous community outreach and philanthropic programs, including the Heritage Archive and Inner City Cinema programs.
