Glamorous gowns and black tie ensembles filled Hollywood’s Milk Studios for the sixth annual amfAR Inspiration Gala Los Angeles, honoring filmmaker Ryan Murphy on Thursday, October 29. Julia Roberts, Host Gwyneth Paltrow, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lea Michele were among the star-studded guests toasting to Murphy’s laudable efforts in the fight against AIDS, alongside amfAR Global Campaign Chair, Sharon Stone, and Chairman Kenneth Cole. Presented by Harry Winston and MAC Viva Glam, the benefit raised an astounding $3.1 million towards amfAR’s burgeoning research programs with a first-rate live auction. Highlights included a Timothy White photograph of the non-profit’s Founding International Chairman, the late Elizabeth Taylor, and a walk-on role in Ryan Murphy’s award-winning series, American Horror Story: Hotel. To cap off the evening, Lady Gaga took to the stage for a moving performance of  her song “Till It Happens To You,” among other ballads, which garnered an overwhelming standing ovation.
