The Ace Hotel Los Angeles hosted its celebratory opening party on Saturday, January 11, at its new location in the historic United Artists building on Broadway in downtown L.A. Guests including Hamish Bowles, Jared Leto, Bernhard Willhelm, Olivia Wilde, Marisa Tomei, Adam Tomei, Lisa Love, Natalie Love, and Jessica Joffe toured the new locale’s interior intelligently styled by Commune Design and sampled provisions from the hotel’s newly opened restaurant, L.A. Chapter. L.A.-based DJs Zach Cowie and Thee Mike B spun beats for guests who congregated on a dance floor created in the ornate theater lobby. The party ended with a tribute toast to Ace founder Alex Calderwood who passed away last year.
