On Thursday, December 14, C‘s Design & Interiors Editor Andrea Stanford, Arts & Culture Editor Elizabeth Khuri Chandler and San Francisco Editor-at-Large Diane Dorrans Saeks hosted “A Celebration of Vicuña in California” at Loro Piana’s new Geary Street boutique in San Francisco. Invitees, including Susie Holmes, Krista Hoffman, Sabrina Buell and many others, previewed the latest vicuña offerings from the Italian fashion house and top authority on the ultra-luxury wool from the elusive animal. Proceeds from the afternoon benefited Napa’s di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, whose grounds unfortunately suffered damages from the Northern California wildfires.
