On Wednesday, October 18, notable San Franciscans gathered to toast Fendi’s new Bay Area boutique and the Italian fashion house’s partnership with SFMOMA and 2018 FOG Design and Art. Partygoers including Alexis Traina, Mary Gonsalves Kinney, Chrisa Pappas and Vanessa Getty who perused the new outpost during cocktail hour before sitting for a full-course meal. The main attraction of the night? A sneak peak of the ‘Obsession Room,’ an experiential space realized by Bureau Betak, which leans on Fendi’s idea of a psychedelic jungle in the form of a room of endless mirrors with nearly 200 textured bag charms hanging from the ceiling above. ‘The ‘Obsession Room’ is on view through Sunday, October 22. 195 Grant Avenue.
