Clare V. + Wallshoppe
“We were looking to collaborate with someone outside the traditional design space,” explains interior designer Nathan Turner, who serves as the creative director of wallpaper e-tailer Wallshoppe. “And Clare [Vivier] came to mind immediately. Her look is so strong and she has a sense of fun and whimsy while always maintaining the chic factor.” The result: Clare V. for Wallshoppe inspired by the handbag and accessories designer’s archives.
On Wednesday, September 27, they hosted a family-style alfresco dinner at Vivier’s Frogtown studio, catered by Bar Amá. Guests including Donald Robertson, Mary McDonald, Eric Hughes and Kelly Lynch joined to fete the playful paper-rolls and removable panels.
A standout for Vivier: “We did a bag with tennis balls a while back and we still get emails about it,” she says. “I love tennis and this is such a great way to speak to it again in a new way.” All nine prints in multiple colorways are teaming with the designer’s delightfully chic style.
