Max Mara Women in Film + Zoey Deutch
Empowerment, femininity and cinema—those were the themes that billowed through Chateau Marmont on Wednesday evening, June 14, as Max Mara celebrated Zoey Deutch. The actor, who stars in the upcoming J.D. Salinger biopic, Rebel in the Rye, was presented with the 2017 Women in Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award, an annual honor bestowed upon someone whose work in film and/or television brings about a turning point in her career. The award also acknowledges the recipient for focusing on contributions to the community, all while exuding style and grace. Deutch’s sister, Madelyn Deutch, and mother, Lea Thompson, joined guests like Erica Pelosini, Lydia Hearst, Ahna O’Reilly and Angela Lindvall to toast the 22-year-old starlet, who graced the cover of C‘s April issue. True to form, the honoree accepted the accolade with poise and style, donning a red textured Max Mara pantsuit and bustier, with chandelier earrings to match.
