C Magazine joined luxury label St. John in toasting the California fashion house’s new Sport collection with an elegant, open-air luncheon at The Peninsula Beverly Hills'  newly minted Mediterranean staple, The Belvedere, on Thursday, September 22. Interior designer Hillary Thomas hosted the afternoon affair, welcoming a bevy of local tastemakers and fellow designers to preview the brand’s latest collection, including designer and co-founder of Vainité Minnie Mortimer and Sprinkles Cupcakes founder Candace Nelson. Guests mingled over sparkling wine and seasonal dishes as models donned looks from the new collection—effortless, modern silhouettes in bold stand-alone hues. The new line of casualwear—a luxurious ensemble of satin, stretch twill, sleek jersey and soft cashmere—comes just in time for fall with styles like knit sweaters, cashmere knit pants and a crimson satin jacket.
