Spotlight: Flavour
San Francisco’s beloved Cotogna—long a best-kept secret of locals—is now making its national debut along with a host of other top eateries on Flavour, an elegant new restaurant app launching on Tuesday, January 20. “The Bay Area restaurant scene is arguably one of the most diverse in the country,” says Flavour‘s Emily Keeton. “I can’t imagine a better city to introduce the app to.” Featuring over 550 dining spots sorted by neighborhood, cuisine or signature feature, Flavour collects recommendations from sources including recognized food critics, local publications, and industry experts to help diners explore the most notable hot spots in the city including The Cavalier, Spruce, ZeroZero, Epic Roasthouse, Roka Akor, and Central Kitchen. For each listing, Flavour includes a selection of highly recommended dishes, links to a full menu, the ability to share by text or email, as well as social media data from each establishment to ensure the most current and comprehensive restaurant listings. The app (for the iPhone) also covers the culinary scenes in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles (Gjelina, Ham Ji Park, Sqirl, and Musso & Franks are all listed), Miami, and New York. As part of Flavour’s Bay Area launch, San Francisco Restaurant Week participants are uploaded and ready for diners to browse and book. Bon appéitit!
