After a recent tour to New York and back, the L.A. Dance Project returned to the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles for a benefit performance on Saturday, October 25. The company’s second annual fundraiser included three pieces, one of which was choreographed by L.A. Dance Project founder Benjamin Millepied. The dancer, who is also the new director of dance at the Paris Opera Ballet, joined his wife, Natalie Portman, and benefit chairs Sutton Stracke and Catharine Soros, Eve la Rue, and Barbara Kruger at the nearby Cooper Design Space for a post-performance dinner.
