The Annenberg Space for Photography introduced its newest exhibition, Country: Portraits of an American Sound, at the Century City museum on Thursday, May 22. Photography buffs and country music aficionados including Jamie Lee Curtis, James Caan, Carlene Carter, Mandy Moore, Jaime King, and Mena Suvari attended the opening of the exhibition comprised of over 110 prints and a documentary film (produced by Arclight Productions) that explores the evolution of the genre over the past 80 years. Photographers Henry Diltz, Henry Horenstein, Les Leverett, David McClister, Raeanne Rubenstein, Leigh Wiener, and Michael Wilson were also in attendance alongside country music artists Lyle Lovett and Keith Sewell who performed for guests.
