New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts held a West Coast benefit gala at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills honoring Oliver Stone and Liza Chasin on Monday, October, 28. Tisch alumna Chandra Wilson co-hosted the benefit held in a ballroom decorated to resemble Manhattan with the Washington Square Park arch projected onto an onstage screen. Current Tisch students performed New York-themed songs, including “On Broadway,” during the evening, before Tisch alumnus Stanley Weiser presented Stone with the Tisch Big Apple award and Universal Pictures Chairwoman Donna Langley gave the honor to her friend, Chasin.
