Jacqueline and David Sacks hosted a launch party for the Modern Art Council’s 2013 Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner on Friday, September 20, at Yammer Headquarters on Market Street in San Francisco. The man of the hour, filmmaker George Lucas, who will be honored at the October 24 event, was on hand for the cocktail party, along with his wife Melody Hobson. Previous award recipients include Robert Bechtle, Manuel Neri, Nathan Oliveria, Wayne Thiebaud, and Richard Serra. The party took place at the offices of David Sacks’ social networking site—acquired last year by Microsoft—that functions as a Facebook of sorts for workers to use inside companies.
