Gail and Stanley Hollander opened their Brentwood residence for the fourth annual LAXART Garden Party on Sunday, July 21. The event celebrated contemporary Los Angeles artists who work with LAXART, an independent nonprofit art space. Alex Israel, Dashiell Manley, Jennifer Tilly, Molly Shannon, Gregory Parkinson, Christine Kim, Shaun Caley Regen, and Esther Kim clutched raffle tickets in hopes of winning earrings designed by co-chair Irene Neuwirth. They also bid on one-of-a-kind artist-designed skateboards to support LAXART’s artist collaborations and experimental exhibition program before launching into an impromptu game of tug of rope with artist Shana Lutker’s sculpture.
