The San Francisco Botanical Garden Society held its 16th Annual Garden Feast benefiting the organization’s youth program and its efforts to educate Bay Area children on the natural world that was held in the Great Meadow on Wednesday, May 21. The plein air party included keynote speaker Daniel Goleman, the author of Emotional Intelligence and Ecological Intelligence, along with a fresh lunch and silent and live auctions featuring rare, exotic plants and exclusive garden tours. After Goleman spoke about the importance of educating children about ecological issues, guests got a glimpse at national and international plant varieties spread throughout the gardens.
