Ronald McDonald House at Stanford Gala
The Ronald McDonald House held its House Party Gala groundbreaking celebration to mark the beginning of work on the Stanford House expansion project on Saturday, March 22. That evening, emcees Cheryl Jennings, Don Sanchez, and Mike Nicco invited guests to enjoy dinner at the facility’s indoor playground where Pride & Joy contributed a soundtrack for the evening while comedian Frank Caliendo entertained the room. Guests paired black tie attire with tennis shoes or playful party attire in honor of the children the organization serves. The current house, which offers shelter to families of children with life-threatening illnesses, will double in size and increase the number of rooms from 47 to 120, allowing the home to take in more children and their families.
