Part the Cloud Lunch 2017
Bay Area philanthropists descended upon Menlo Park’s Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club on Thursday, February 2 to fete Part the Cloud‘s annual luncheon supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. More than 300 guests joined Part the Cloud founder Michaela Hoag and event co-chairs Ellen Drew and Debbie Robbins as they honored Maria Shriver with the Silver Lining Award for her contribution to the important cause. Shriver founded The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement in 2015, and a the daughter of the disease, she has battled on the front lines of the fight against Alzheimer’s for more than a decade. The memorable afternoon raised more than $750,000 toward the support and research of Alzheimers—which is the sixth-leading cause of death in the U.S.—and Part the Cloud as a whole has helped raise over $17.75 million to date.
