FOG DESIGN + ART FAIR PREVIEW GALA
San Francisco tastemakers, art patrons and design lovers descended upon Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion on Wednesday for this year’s FOG Design+Art Fair Preview Gala. The evening offered an exclusive first look at the third annual fair, which aims to enhance the dialogue between art and design. Honorary co-chairs Christine and Pierre Lamond joined attendees and exhibitors including Douglas Durkin, Stephanie Marver, Tatiana Sorokko, Jessica Silverman and Sara Thornton in browsing the vast assortment of furniture, fine art and design objects. Guests enjoyed music by DJ Jason Kendig while many gathered for pictures in front of lauded designer Stanlee R. Gatti’s homage to the recent passing of David Bowie: a fabric sign emblazoned with the words, “Bowie Forever.” All of the proceeds of the gala went to support the San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art‘s exhibitions and education programs. The fair is now open to the public through Jan. 17.
