Marking its 11th season as Napa Valley’s reigning food, music and arts celebration, the annual Festival Napa Valley kicked off on Friday, July 15 with a live performance from singer and Emmy and Tony-Award winning actress Kristin Chenoweth in Calistoga. Held at the Tuscan-inspired winery Castello di Amorosa, attendees from across the Bay Area including Ann and Gordon Getty, Maria Manetti Shrem, OJ and Gary Shansby, Karen and Rick Walker, and Katherine Hall, enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres atop the winery tower, followed by an intimate concert from Broadway star Chenoweth (Wicked, On the Twentieth Century) in the courtyard. The festivities continued with the Allegro After Party at nearby hotel Solage Calistoga, featuring a live performance from Irish musician and singer Eoin Harrington, as well as a patron dinner at The Napa Valley Reserve. For Festival Napa Valley goers, this world-class evening amid the valley’s enchanting vineyards was just the beginning of the exuberant, 10-day affair.
