Nicola Miner and Robert Mailer Anderson hosted the third annual Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) benefit reception in Pacific Heights honoring its co-founder and chairwoman Susan Axelrod and her husband David Axelrod on Friday, May 31. Many of the grants funded by CURE have gone to researchers at UC San Francisco, UC Berkeley and Stanford University; and President Obama’s former campaign advisor joined Evelyn Nussenbaum and Craig and Kathryn Hall for the evening fundraiser.
