The Bay Area Discovery Museum hosted its annual Playdate: Jet Set to Rio benefit on Friday, May 2, in Sausalito. Guests greeted a cast of characters including an airline captain and his flight attendants and got passports stamped before they entered the museum that had been transformed into a Brazillian-themed carnival for the evening, complete with tropical foliage, Samba dancers from the Gregangelo & Velocity Circus, and floats created by tots who visited the museum. A live auction and raffle were held, and DJ Mancub provided a soundtrack for guests.
