Spotlight: Rag & Bone
With the arrival of two new stores in Venice and San Francisco, it’s safe to say clothing company rag & bone has the Golden State covered. And, just in time to stock up on goods for fall/winter. But, when it comes to the new spaces, the New York–based company didn’t spare any details. The new, industrial-inspired space on Abbot Kinney Boulevard is layered with concrete floors, skylights, wood columns, exposed brick walls, and salvaged windows, and also features a manicured outdoor area for sunny afternoons.
In San Francisco, the 1,289-square-foot boutique is appointed with custom wallpaper from British wallpaper duo Vanessa Barneby and Alice Gates of Barneby Gates, European white oak floors, and brass modular shelves created in the rag&bone shop in Brooklyn. “They’re both beautiful stores and we’re proud to be able to bring our brand to these new locations where we hope to make a positive impact in the communities,” says Managing Partner David Neville. “We are very excited to now have four Rag & Bone retail stores on the west coast.”
