Spotlight: Kate Spade Saturday
The new Kate Spade Saturday boutique in West Hollywood stocks weekend wear with the sort of bold color combinations unseen since John Travolta hit the disco floor. The shop, a second brick-and-mortar location for the casual brand that launched this past spring with a flagship store in Japan, boasts reds, oranges and yellows sure to sear the unshaded eye. Designs are even brighter and patterns are more vibrant than its namesake, owned by Fifth & Pacific Companies, Inc. On the corner of West 3rd Street and Orlando Avenue, bags, shoes, clothes, accessories, and home goods fill racks, and new products are delivered each week. Next time your dead-end paint store job brings you down, head over to the shop giving new meaning to Saturday night fever.
