Perfect Pairing: Salt + Aether
Two Southern California companies—with so much in common they were destined to find each other—have done just that. Though neither has a Tinder profile, Salt. optics and Aether outerwear have indeed come together to launch a limited edition line of sunglasses designed with motorcycle riders in mind. The beta-titanium frames, created to appeal to both men and women, are available in two styles with polarized lenses: the Scout and the Explorer. The shades are flexible enough to be removed or put on while wearing a helmet, and the fit is so secure that riders won’t need to make adjustments while traversing roads at high speeds. Lenses come in four colors with either a photochromic filter that adjusts to light conditions or a scratch-proof mirror coating to block glare. Wind shields with holes ensure that peripheral vision is never obstructed, and the glasses have nearly unbreakable temples. In short, these might also make a perfect match with dad this Father’s Day.
