Perfect Pairing: Etro + Net-A-Porter
As California residents relocate to poolside perches in Napa, San Marino, and La Jolla, voluminous maxi skirts and tunics replace the simple sun dresses favored during spring months. In time for the annual shift to diaphanous clothes, Italian fashion house Etro has created a capsule collection of seven easy pieces for Net-A-Porter. Veronica Etro’s designs in the house’s delicate paisley print bring to mind both the geometric tiles decorating San Simeon’s indoor swimming hole and teeming tide pools in Santa Cruz. The bright blue hues look modern, yet the washed fabrics have the lived-in feel of vintage clothes. The fashion flock have a new mantra this season: Just breathe.
