Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler are known for creating the cult-like indoor cycling sensation SoulCycle. With the arrival of their first California studios in West Hollywood, Brentwood and Santa Monica (just one block from the beach), the N.Y.-based duo have an excellent excuse to spend more time in sunny SoCal. And, it doesn’t look like that will change any time soon – the pair are set to open their stationary bike studios in Beverly Hills, Marin and San Francisco later this year. TAVERN The oatmeal is unreal and the homemade nutter butters are divine. It’s also right next to our Brentwood studio so I can go for a snack right after a class.

ELYSE WALKER She has a great cultivation of unique brands.

GJELINA I love everything here, especially the pizza.

HEIST A great place to shop for up-and-coming designers.

JOAN’S ON THIRD The nicoise salad has actual tuna in it and the dressing is amazing.

PRESSED JUICERY They have the best green juice I have ever had and I feel great after I drink one.

RUNYON CANYON This is where I go for a hike in the early morning to clear my head.

FRED SEGAL They sell Happiness Sweatpants that I wear to work.

MAXFIELD It feels like I’m shopping in a museum.

NOBU MALIBU The view of the beach from this restaurant is incredible.

YOGURT STOP I go for late night yogurt dates in West Hollywood with my best friend Michael. My favorite flavor is cake batter with fat free brownie topping.
