Van Cleef & Arpels American president and CEO Alain Bernard and Oscar de la Renta gathered guests at The Colleagues 26th Annual Spring Luncheon to honor H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco on Tuesday, April 29, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Reese Witherspoon presented Her Serene Highness with the Champion of Children Award for her commitment to the Special Olympics for which she serves as the global ambassador. The Princess, a former champion South African swimmer, also recently launched an eponymous non-profit foundation and Learn to Swim program to teach swimming skills to underprivileged children. The multitalented de la Renta showed his fall 2014 collection, and models clad in Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry also made the rounds. Guests including Angie Harmon, Lois Aldrin, and Laeticia Hallyday attended the luncheon benefiting the Children’s Institute, an organization providing support for children and their families facing domestic trauma and community violence.
